Mark Lanegan
Born in 1964 at Ellensburg, WA, Mark Lanegan began his music career in the 1980’s after forming the grunge band, Screaming Trees. As a member of Screaming Trees, he released 7 albums. Through the life of the band, Lanegan slowly built up a career as a solo artist. He released 4 solo albums during his time with the Screaming Trees, as well as several collaborations. The album, Bubblegum, was his biggest success. Released After the breakup of the Screaming Trees, Mark joined the Queens of the Stone Age as their singer. He stayed with the Queens of the Stone Age until mid-2005, recording three albums (Rated R, Song for the Deaf, Lullabies to Paralyze). Lanegan released two solo albums during this time, Field Songs and Bubblegum. Bubblegum is his biggest success to date, peaking #39 on the Billboards ‘Top Independent Albums’ chart.
